About Us

PSI Managers provides advice to philanthropists about their giving programs.

Keith Bryant is the founder of PSI Managers. Prior to establishing PSI Managers, Keith had senior executive roles at the Benevolent Society, Australia’s first charity, for over 10 years, and prior to that was a Director at Deutsche Bank Australia. Keith has Bachelor degrees in Laws and Economics from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

PSI Managers’ years of experience in two sectors – finance and charity – and our enviable connections in the human services sector enable us to help you develop a strategic and innovative approach to the causes that matter to you.

The following are a snapshot of some of that experience:

  • Led the rebuilding of the corporate infrastructure at a major charity, changing senior personnel and implementing improved business systems and procedures during a period of high income growth;
  • Built a unit in large charity that managed the social innovation culture and systems, and expanded significantly the non-government funding to support that innovation;
  • Appointed at the age of 31 a Partner of Bain & Co, one of Australia’s largest stockbroking firms, and subsequently appointed a Director for 10 years at Deutsche Bank Australia, when that organization bought out the Bain partnership;
  • Restructured and rebuilt equity sales operations at Bain & Co and Deutsche Bank in London, Europe, Asia and Australia and built from scratch an Equity Capital Markets business;
  • Led a project to build a Dutch inspired housing and care model for older Australians; led an innovative community development initiative in Western Sydney; and led the formation of social enterprises in the areas of primary health care for mothers and babies, and social inclusion through food tours and food literacy;
  • Contributed to the early formation and funding of Social Ventures Australia and later to the formation of the GoodStart Consortium which now owns 600 childcare centres.
